Heavy hoofs beat the ground in an effort to move my body as I ran through the misty forest. With every step came a sense of adrenaline. A course of power that I desired and endured. A small surge that let me move quicker than ever. And slowly it drained. I cursed, and found myself in a showed land. Smiling, I knew what was gonna do today. I would have some fun, for I was one to play with minds and perhaps... "Befriends" or rather gain trust and betray.
I found a large tree, and went to it. With a large thud, I fell to my side, and sat there. In the course of midnight, I felt a power rising again. Because here I was invincible. I was invisible to many eyes. My coat was able to blend in the shadowy land and background, and only my bright murderous red eyes gave me away.
I closed my eyes, but kept my senses open. Because now I was truelly invincible, because I could not be seen by the keenest eye! A masquerade of my power was hidden by my only ally, the shadowy darkness I welcomed into my soul long ago!

The moon sat silently in the sky above, shining it’s rays down upon the Amenti lands below. The trees were lined in a silver cast, the ground an eerie shade of gray. Everything was silent, not a sound of a bird or fleeing creature came forth from the shadows of the night. Midnight. The very start of the next day as it seemed though it remained in darkness. The cool breeze blew gently, the winds noting the season’s change. The warm weather that was normal had been replaced by the cool, chilly air of fall and soon to come, winter. The nights were longer, the daylight hours shorter, prime time for the being that tread through the lands before him.
A shadow was less than a description for such a beast. Beneath the moonlight above, piercing toxic green eyes shone brightly, almost appearing to glow beneath the light. Upon his chest was a hidden upside down T like marking in gray, though with how dark it was now, it was hard to see. Beneath the light, the same toxic green color adorned the tips of his ears, as well as his tail. As he moved, the two scars slanted over the left side of his face became visible, a memory of a previous battle, probably the only one he lost horribly. He was a battle ridden male, though he only bore those two scars, all others he had won and had been rewarded for. The pack he had been born in was enough to send a shiver down your spine. His parents always rewarded him for a job well done, often with sex or blood explaining his strange man whore type behavior. He had become a sex freak over the years, always craving such a pleasurable feeling whether it be from male or female.
He came forth from the shadows of the trees out into the full on moonlight. His very being finally able to be seen. Within that light, a pair of large dragon like wings arched over his back, toxic green like liquid showing within the veins of the membrane. He had yet to be accepted as a member of Amenti but for now he would deal with it. He would find the alpha eventually and there it would be official. For the time being, he would roam the lands as he felt needed. He stopped at a small stream, dipping his head to take a drink of the cool liquid. It was like ice piercing the sides of his throat. As he rose back to all fours, within the distance another moved. A large mammal, that was for sure. It did not bare the horns as an elk or deer would though it was larger than either animal. He stepped within the water, moving slowly as he crossed to get a better look. The animal fell, perhaps it was sick? His pace picked up gently and as he was yards away, he stopped. It was a horse, one of few he had ever seen. It’s eyes pierced the darkness, giving away his position even when he blended in so well to the darkness around them both.
Toxin stood within one of the pools of moonlight that fled in from the canopy above, giving away his own position. He side stepped, the shadows covering his dark form as he continued to watch the equine before him. The scent of him swam within his nostrils, making sure the beast still remained in the spot, awaiting to see what the animal decided to do next.
