Fall. Ah yes. It was that time of season; Doc could feel it deep in his bones his legs screamed wanting to break out into a run, but they couldn't he wouldn't allow it.
His body tensed up watching a blur of movement. No, it wasn't of the living he knew this much. He could feel the icy touch as it brushed against him hissing a word in his ear.
Watch out! watchout.. the hairs on his neck lifted; each one pricking up one at a time as the shiver spread over his body.
Doctor paused a moment; listening taking great care with it, he was a wee bit curious about who was tagging along near by, or perhaps who was near by.
"Hmm.." he sighed to himself; loud. Just to make himself announced. "suppose the dawn isn't enough to be on one's own." he'd expected most to be asleep at this hour, however perhaps he was wrong- no. He was wrong. He knew someone was awake he could smell them..practicly hear them coming. His body made it's self ready; for anything..the soft hissing off into his ears warning him..

Shadows danced over the dawn as the sun began to rise in the horizon. The wind was crisp and the terrain was still and quiet. Tranquility. Peace. Life was still, no other creatures moved as the brute wandered within the territory. Tranquility was not something that was common in his hell of a life; it had been nothing but war and chaos though he loved it. His specialty. Leaves fell around him from the trees high above, making it seem as if he were walking death, making all living things drop at his feet. The sun was far from rising fully, that he could deal with. He preferred the early dawn, dusk and nighttime, feeling it the best way to hide himself in the shadows that remained in the area around him. He was a being of little words and nothing but chaos. War was his favorite thing, training many in the craft over his years. He was not an old being, but his form showed a struggle in the past.
His pelt of black blended in with the shadows around him. His tattered bat like wings resting arched over his head, moving with him as he maneuvered through the forest. Eyes of sapphire blue scanning the areas between the trees, searching for life or in his case, death if it lurked there. His nose scanned the scents, noting no death lingered in the crisp air. Pity. It would be interesting to see the cause. He was fascinated in death, always finding the causes the most fascinating of it all. He had found many in his path who had been killed by another, eyes already rotted and bones visible under pelts of strange markings and colors. His own markings were unique. His face was decored in red tribal markings, one large on above his eyes and smaller ones at the sides of his face. He bore a large scar across his back, going from one side to the other. He had received that many years ago though it was hardly visible with his wings in their present stature. His wandering form stopped, jumping lightly over a small ravine filled with flowing cool water. If only he knew how it could feel to swim, be free with the water. His form was to large to enjoy it fully, that and water wasn’t his favorite play thing. He enjoyed it on rare occasions though only for a few moments at a time. He did not fear the waters, he just found no need to enjoy them besides merely for drinking.
He stopped, glanced back at the ravine before pushing forward though his nose now filled with the scent of another. Male. Perhaps he would have an interesting encounter. He was not the nicest male, nor did he care much of other males. His soft side was only shown to the females that he found worthy to see that side of him. Kage was a wolf of war, a wolf of pain and death and a wolf of seriousness. His dark formed weaved through the trees, following the scent. Though it took him a while, he came upon the other. He took in his scent, growling low in his throat with it being barely audible to the other. He noted the strange colorings of the other. He did not speak, though he stayed hidden. He would await the other’s reaction first before he decided what to do about the situation.

Low sounds; faint but there. A threat perhaps. Long muzzle tipped to the air, a male. This wasn't a place for his manners however, perhaps this encounter would hold something of interest for him. The muscles in his body flexed as he shifted his weight.
His mind was a mess of endless questions. Who was he? Why didn't he show his face? What did he look like? Even so, maybe Doc could bait him out some how. He was sure of it, and one thing he knew that normally poked at any males pride- or ego..which ever you wanted to call it was being told they were hiding; simple enough. Just that question could be came across in many ways. Most took it as being called out- being called a coward.
Watching..hes watching.. the words cooed inside of his head. Brutes black lips slid apart blue tongue ran around the skin. "What are ya hiding from poppet.." the corners of his lips turned up into a smirk at the thought of one hiding a slow chuckle was tossed from his throat rolling off his tongue.
Doc slowly became at ease with the current situation in front of him- he knew nothing of the brute, but in time. He would figure him out, all he needed was a simple touch. Turquoise eyes caught another blurring movement. A tingle danced along his spine as it watched it slowly form into a shape. Then directing his muzzle to a patch of trees and bushes. Docs eyes locked onto the area he wanted to speak- to ask why the spirit had pointed him this direction; but he had a few ideas on why himself."I know your there.." his tone was lacking emotion- he was growing bored.

His form hid well within the shadows of the trees. The sun had yet to rise enough to reveal his large form. He watched the brute from his spot, knowing he would be able to sense him quickly. The wind was not his friend this morning, making his scent drift towards the male a few yards away. Figures. He was normally a good stalker, always taking in the fact wind played a big part in being able to hide well. He was not thinking clearly obviously. This morning was not one of good spirits though most mornings weren’t anyway.
Kage was not usually a friendly male. He preferred to be around the ladies than any other male after being in war with only males for years. He had had experiences with males, finding himself stronger than most. If worst came to worst, he was unsure of how it would end between him and the brute he watched carefully. He could not judge the flight and fight tactics just by looking at what was on the outside. It all depended on the instincts that were held inside the individual. He definitely did not need to be baited out into the open, he would come out when he so pleased. He wished to take in the scent and sight of the brute first, smelling and tasting the air around him to know whether or not this encounter would be threatening or calm. He couldn’t read emotions well but from years of war and watching enemies, it was a habit of his even if he wasn’t very good at it. He breathed out deep, his breath able to be seen within the cool morning’s arriving light.
Auds perked at the male’s words. Interesting. He was calling him out. He would get what he asked for, feeling no threat to occur. His black form slithered from the shadows, his tattered bat like wings still held at an arch over his head. Eyes of sapphire blue scanned the male, taking in the sight of him. Red tribal like markings hidden within the shadows though they would be visible soon, as the sun rose over the horizon, “Who said I was hiding?” He questioned, his voice deep though emotionless. His facial expression to held no imminent expression. He was not one to show emotions well. Only to those trustworthy enough to see his true self. He was a serious being, always taking things seriously. He was also quite sarcastic, one of his favorite things. Perhaps this male would realize what he had gotten himself into and flee, many did. What was another one to add to the numerous in the past? Just another soul, another life. Nothing more.

Doctors ears lifted carefully watching the brute as he pulled from his little hide away. He simply raised an eyebrow at him. Even though what the brute before him did appear to be abit `spooky' doc didn't mind it none.
"Well, then why are you tucked behind that bush?" he questioned sitting down. He was obviously getting himself comfortable. Poor Doc didn't feel any reason to bugger at the male, not yet at least.
He needed to know more about him before he did such things. Judging by the way he held himself he wasn't one for games. That was different, he supposed. Then again- alot of things in this world were now, very strange weren't they?
Doctor shook his head softly, coal lips eased open words leaking from them with ease. "Names Doctor." That ear gave a small flick. His tone was lacking emotion- straight forward to the point. Why would he show any emotion?
After all he knew nothing of the male in front of him! He didn't care for him or feel any friendship to him. No loyalty- no bonds what so ever!
For all he could care the male could drop dead at his feet, with no warning. Blue tongue peeked out to slither over his lips. He knew, he just needed one small touch; nothing big just a tap..and everything would unfold for him.

He stood just outside of the shadows, feeling no need to move forward any more than he had. The male had strange colors that were almost alien like in ways, at least to him. Colors that did not quite match any else he had met in his past. He did possess red markings though his were much darker and blended in quite well with his black coat and were a bit hard to see at times. Others he knew had similar markings such as he though still none possessed the markings of the male in front of him.
“I was not hiding. Observing. It is what I do. Your scent came to me, why not investigate it. Oddly enough I had semi hoped for the smell of death and decay or the smell of blood.” He smirked darkly, sitting upon his haunches. His tail wrapped around him, his wings lowering to rest strangely upon his back though sat hovering outside his body just slightly. Kage was definitely not one to try and pick a fight with, let a lone a game. If he did not know you were playing a game, it would more than likely cost you your life since he reacts quickly and efficiently if the moment comes. He enjoyed the games of tease with the females but that was it. He had yet to come upon a female with the intent to kill him, though things could change.
“Doctor?” He questioned, a brow raising slightly. Interesting name.. He thought to himself. He had yet to hear that one, “Guess everyone is a little crazy at naming their offspring. I am Kage.” He replied, simple and to the point. He didn’t enjoy small talk though manners played a part here. His manners were something very important to him. Though the male was strange, the best he could do was give him his name in return. Though not generally a friendly male, he was surprised at just how friendly he was being. He didn’t take kindly to other males, mostly those much weaker than he and without the needed skills to live life well. He did not dare move forward anymore. He felt a suitable distance was substantial for a good conversation while he got comfortable with the new sights and smells of the area around him.

Doctor watched him, chuckling to himself. "you won't always find that smell on me, on a regular basis mate." it was shocking Doc he was being somewhat friendly to the brute!
"I suppose they do, then again- it fits in it's own little, odd way." his tone was abit dull, then again; wasn't everyones tone this way when they held lack of interest in a subject.
To him a name was just a name- now the person behind that name..that he was interested in.
"Well Kage, Observing is a good detail- however. Sometimes it is best to talk with one; and learn more about them that way rather than stalking them behind bushes."
Oh well, there goes some of his polite behavior at least he could say, he tried. After all- Kage, as far as he knew was still holding up the acts of kindness.
Doctor was trying his hardest to do the same. If one gives respect- or well in his case kind attitude then the other should display it back.
No, no small talk for Doctor really he wasn't in the mood for much of it. "Kage- you seem abit tattered up from battles I'm sure but on your own or...from pack issues?" curious if the brute was in a pack- maybe hoping to see if he could get his paws on something of trade perhaps.
After all, if he could it would always be nice to have one such as Kage around- in a debt of some sort. He could offer a favor to the brute- well after he got to know more about him.
It was seeming as though getting close enough to even barely touch Kadge wasn't looking good- he'd have to do his best to pull it from him, every part of who he was with words. Ah well, you can never fly without falling..

“That is to bad.” He spoke, a bit disappointed. He loved the smell and thought of blood and decay, it was something he had grown to love over time. After being in many battles, it was a common smell, a smell that never quite left your nose no matter how hard you tried to get rid of it. It was better to grow used to it than fight it off, especially when it was a regular thing for some like himself. He ignored the brute’s remark about names, he still found his strange in so many ways but there again, he had met quite a few with strange names as well. His wasn’t exactly ordinary either. Everyone had uniqueness with their name that others would not mimic. His wings flexed slightly, stretching out the aching bones before folding them back. The scar across his back visible only for a second but only to those who would be sneaking up on him, if it were to happen.
He snorted slightly, auds still perked upon his head as he listened to Doc. He had an interesting way of expressing himself through words but without him knowing the past of Kage, it would be hard to tell just exactly how he reacted to things, “Sometimes talking won’t get you anywhere. Observing is best when you have just entered a new realm and have yet to find friendly company in the area. After my past, you would understand why I observe first.”He growled lightly, standing and pacing at the edge of the trees. What did this male know, he knew nothing of his past or of his ways. This was half the reason he couldn’t deal with males on a daily basis. Their egos just seemed to stand in the way. They always enjoyed trying to size him up which most ended up dead in that sort of situation. You don’t mess around with Kage and get away with it. You will more than like walk away with a severe injury or not walk away at all. It was his nature.
He chuckled darkly at Doc’s observations of his tattered wings and body. Of course he would be scarred and worn, after a life like his, who wouldn’t be. He never belonged to a pack, he belonged to a large group of males trained for wars. They were back up if certain packs needed them but when they were allowed to wander alone, most traveled. Thankfully those times were done for him, “War sir. These are the scars of war.” He said simply. His wings outspread again, revealing small holes in parts of the membrane of them that mimicked a bat’s almost precisely. If Doc could not understand that fast enough, he would probably walk away and let the male return to time alone. He wasn’t one for small talk nor in depth conversations with other males, though if this brute had turned to be female, well, that would be different.

War? well now, so it seemed the brute before him was a brother of war- death was his specialty?
It sure seemed it; why with such scars! He had to be, honestly- or else the black beast wouldn't be standing before him. "Hm, this is true- I prefer methods of my own talking is rather fowl." his nose wrinkled.
Doctor was growing ever bored with the current situation and well, he was about ready to leave but something was keeping him grounded on spot.
He hated dropping something he wanted to do- and that was to know more about this brute. Kage. "War- hm. Never really a strong point for me." he shrugged forcing himself to all fours shifting his weight around.
All the blurs and shapes of the departed still lingered about- they were all so very distracting to poor doc. "do you..seek any thing?" he carried on; hidden meaning lingered behind the words.

Kage was indeed a brother of war. He had known many in those days much like him, that only cared about the thrill and joy of killing another for purposes sometimes unknown. Some did not share this fascinating, which in the end only got them killed. Without those general skills, there was no point to life. You need those skills to survive in everyday life, at least some. Because he had more skills than many, he had plenty of ways to avoid death.
He stopped and looked towards Doc, piercing eyes of sapphire glowing lightly in the rising sun’s rays. He wasn’t to sure what he thought of this male, at least not yet. He was somewhat annoying, somewhat immature and what seemed to be uneducated in the art of war and battle. Ah well, it was not the first time he’s had to teach others so unlike himself his ways, he was quite used to it, “As said, talking will do you nothing when someone is trying to ambush you. What are you going to do? Talk them out of it when you don’t know they are there?” He snorted; it would definitely be a lost cause if someone were to do that. If the particular person who was ambushing you wanted to kill you, they would do so. They wouldn’t listen to any talk about it. He felt Doc’s urge to leave and frankly, he would have been slightly happy about it. He had that effect on people. Many did not like how the aura around him felt or how he smelled or how he acted which in turn made others flee. He didn’t mind, he quite enjoyed it.
“It is to bad. Battle is quite a art to know. Saves your life more often than not. Sure, some have the basic fighting skills to get them through day to day life but when you’ve been in as many battles as I have, well, you have more of a chance at living your life fully.” He explained. He normally didn’t explain himself so much but why not. What else was he going to do besides maybe hunt? Auds perked at his question. What would he seek? All he wanted was some peace and quiet for a while. The area he found himself in quite tranquil, which was particularly what he was looking for, at least for a little while before stirring things up a bit, “What do I seek? I seek nothing.” He growled lightly in his throat though it held no threatening meaning.

Taydin's first steps into the new land. Into a new world, a new place to be around. Except how cheesy was this? Every step you took was a new place to have taken that step. Taydin's long white legs strode forward with every dismal thought possible. While his amber eyes swept over the land they searched for something entertaining, something to do.
A small flame was lit upon a log, and Taydin stopped to look at it. His brow cocked up, eyes curious and questioning. "What the hell?" He mumbled to himself. He put his nose down towards it, looking at it from a different angle. He snorted. Why the hell the log had this single flame on it was beyond him. He stared at it for a moment longer, noticed that it wasn't catching the rest of the log on fire, and continued into the forest.
Two males stood talking, a couple good feet from each other. It seemed as if they had just run into each other. Taydin peered from behind a tree trunk, smirking. Both males were rather good looking, especially the black one. His pink tongue slipped out of his lips and ran across his maw, eyes hungrily gazing over both.
As the brown male, Doc, he had heard, had called out the black male for hiding, Taydin brought himself out as well.
"Why hello, everyone. Taydin Fuentes, and you two gentlemen?"

So he had no were to go from here, giving a slight grunt. Oh well. "No, it wouldn't I'm not stupid. I know when words will not be enough." The tone was blank, watching Kage.
Battle an art? yes. It was; a true beauty something that never got old no matter how many times you watched it. Doctor chuckled to himself. He didn't fight often, not here recently anyways. He knew enough to knock most off their feet and give him time to kill.
He knew just from glancing at Kage he wouldn't last ten seconds in a fight. Sad, but true. His ears pricked skull turned to the side to gaze at the new comer. Green gaze narrowed.
"Names Doctor." the words came out in a growl. Now one male, he could deal with but two- that was just starting to push it. However.. Those eyes swept over the figure of the new coming male.
Maybe he'd have luck with luring this one into some sort of a debut! His attention was brought back to Kage wondering how he felt about the addition of another- curious now of how he would react.

He did not speak any further in terms of what the other male would do in terms of attacking a potential threat. It didn’t matter now, he knew what he had to do when things became unsteady and that was all that mattered. Sapphire eyes moved from Doc to scan the terra around him, finally taking in the actual sights that were lain out before him. Now he was able to take the time and enjoy them. He no longer had to worry about the duty of war and the deed of training every now and again. He was finally free, able to do as he pleased. He was hopeful that his next encounter would definitely be female. He had been around to many males in his past; it was time for a change. He hoped to finally settle down even though his war tattered scars still shown though only on the outside. Many of the ladies found them fascinating, at least the ones he had met in the past. He was a strong male, one of the highest ranks in his area of war. He knew the tactics, he knew to watch and listen and he knew patience. Many would lose against him, doc probably included. His gaze wandered back over to him, taking in his sight. As a male who knew nothing of war, his life would probably end quickly if they had managed to quarrel. Thankfully it hadn’t come down to that, at least not yet. Ears pricked slightly at the sound of the other male. How could he have not sensed him earlier? A low growl came from his throat. This was not what he wanted to deal with, at least not again. One male interaction was enough for a night. His body turned to take in the sight of the other, his bat like wings arching over his head once more, a small sign of dominance in a way. The long scar than ran over his back visible in the brightening light of morning. Sapphire eyes bore no emotion, not even anger, which was somewhat unusual for him. Growls rumbled within his throat though low and deep. Why couldn’t he ever have a peaceful conversation without others barging in at times? “Kage..” He spoke in reply to the newcomer. His voice deep and emotionless. Males weren’t his favorite gender to speak with though this new male would probably soon find that out. Kage wasn’t usually such a kind hearted male, for once he hadn’t attacked every living thing that moved. That had been when he was young, stupid and naïve and had no idea what he was doing. He was much stronger now, able to hold his own and judge more fairly. He awaited the male’s reaction to both he and doc, this could get interesting! OOC: It’s not a problem! Just be wary that Kage doesn’t like males much. He’s an old warrior, dealing with males a lot

Doctor watched the newcomer for a bit longer, he already had a pretty good judgment on the brute, what he thought of him. It wasn't very highly either. Attention was drawn back to the other before him, Kage. "Now- your arts..would you be interested in maybe teaching me a few things?" he cocked his head, the question was simple. No strings attached for once. He needed to learn more fighting tactics, doctor didn't get into many spats that bad, so there for he only knew basics. Why not try to learn new things and why with such a chance, with one who had been in war! Now, that was quite the chance. "That is if you don't mind." he mused out, glancing at the other male for a second. Slightly uneasy with two of them, Kage he was just now adjusting himself to, were he didn't mind him as much. After all, he was a conversation was he not? he was entertainment; and that was key in his book!
