The Bara queen moved slowly now, her wings rested gently upon her sides. Yawning, her tail flicked, head held high as her paws graced the earth. This was a beautiful land, the white trees had a mysterious beauty within them. However it wasn't long she could marvel at her lands beauty. Sharp pains ripped their way through her stomach. A sharp breath of air was drawn in as a response to the agonizing pain. Wings ruffled uncomfortably. Growling, she glanced around, looked like she would need to find a makeshift den. Moving quickly, her mind raced as she forced herself to pick up her pace. Piercing red eyes glanced in every direction in a sense of panic, no matter how she tried to make herself stay relaxed, it never worked. Sighing, she paused as another agonizing stab of pain tore through her stomach. Snarling, she snapped angrily at her stomach. Wishing her children would have a bit of patience at the least.
Slowing down, she crept into a place that was hidden with branches and thick trees to hide her and her pups from the world. Finally collapsing to the ground, she dug her claws into the earth at the pain. Closing her eyes and pinning her ears back against her skull. Hearing the snapping of branches around her, she snarled, baring her teeth in the direction of any strangers that might lurk.
The constant ache turned into a sudden stab as the first pup decided it was time. Growling, she breathed deeply trying to relax. It would be nice if Zen were here, but he wasn't yet, she was sure he wouldn't be long though. These were their kids. He wouldn't miss this. Finally the first one was out, a boy. Forcing a smile, she began to lick him as motherly instincts kicked in. Making sure he was breathing, and crying like any healthy pup should. Sighing she pushed him to her stomach. He was deep grey in color, with beautiful light blue stripes which lightly covered his entire body. She was sure these would grow deeper and stronger in color as he got older. It wasn't long until the second was on its way into the world. Lifting her wing slowly, she rested it over her stomach to provide more shelter and comfort for her son. The next was into the world, and she repeated the same things as she had done with her son. This one was a girl. Smiling, she too pushed her under the safety of her ivory wings. "Oh my love, you must see them..." she whispered. Laying her head down she closed her eyes. However kept her guard up the entire time. She would not allow anything to harm them.
