Swenet love isn't coming back to RS so I've been given leadership of Valcantia, and Lovita is going to act the part of Alphess now <3 So anyone who wishes to remain in Valcantia through the new alpha change please post here. Anyone who doesn't post will be removed from the pack. Although they will be faced with no penalty for leaving now. So if you desire to leave do so now by now posting]
The gentle breeze and cool from the mountains lifted her azure pelt gently pushing it forward. These lands were new no longer new to Lovita, but every wolf that came her way today would be. News traveled quickly, and she traveled almost as fast as the news that brought her here. Charon, the previous alpha, had gone missing. For reasons unknown he was now gone. Invisible as a ghost on the breeze that swirled around Lovita's large frame now. Much had been said about him, he was a kind wolf, a great leader, and a peaceful wolf. Though through s tangle of events he was gone and a wolf named Selena bore his pups.
Moving swiftly now across the dry lands brittle brown grass brushed and prickled her rough pads. The sun shone down brightly, but it's power much less in this season than summer. It was time Lovita made her presence know to the rest of the pack now. Now was the best time, she had met with several wolves of the pack already, though she longed to meet the rest who lingered in the shadows. Not to long ago Lovita remembered Charon coming to power the same way she would, and this time Valcantia would keep their alpha longer than a season or two. They would have to kill her before she would leave.
There was change coming in the winds, and Lovita drew power from the thought. She had finally done it, she would, on this day, be able to say her family would have been proud of her. A smile of pleasure over came her quickly as she stopped beside a small river. Raising her head to the sky above her Lovita let a beautiful song ring across the lands. Her voice was loud and powerful, but and under laying feminine hint to it. She was gentle and kind, not pushy and bull headed. No, she would gain the packs trust from her kind and loving words, with any luck they would accept her in a new rein of leadership. It was time for the pack to have a new direction, changes would be coming, but only if she would be allowed to carry out her plans to their full maturity.
Ending her solo song on a good note Lovita was sure any wolves could and would have heard her and come. The simple solution to any who choose to not attend, well, they simply must not want to stay a part of a pack lead by her then. Nodding her head Lovita waited patiently for those of would wish to remain to come.

Glacier glanced around, his longer white fur slowly being lifted in the breeze. The sun shone, but with the changing solstice, it wasn't even close to enough for him to hold any amount of heat from it. Sighing he walked on, maybe the river would solve at least one issue. Thirst gripped at his throat like sand paper, and the wind around him didn't help one bit as his mouth hung open seeking moisture.
Trotting ahead the sweet, but powerful, song graced his white auds. The female siren called out from someplace near the river banks, though clearly not looking for a figure of power. The sound drew Glacier to pick up his pack, an almost sense of deja vu over coming him. It has been a week or so since Charon had gone missing and a stab of remorse gripped his belly, Glacier would miss their alpha dearly. Though maybe this would be their angel they'd been looking for.
Coming closer to the river a blue wolf came across his vision, clearly outlined against the tan canvas behind her. She was sitting, completely at ease, beside the river banks. He stance was regal at least, and she look overjoyed to be here. Coming closer Glacier was quick to figure out this fae was seeking to claim leadership, if she had yet to already.
Dipping low in greeting she chuckled lightly "Hello warrior, stand. I assume you have heard my call? Silly me you must have. My name is Lovita Selena Vesta, I'm here to seek claim to these lands, though only through the acceptance of you wolves already here." a smile graced her unique features. The wind made the stripes on her fur blur in and out of shape. "Greetings Lovita, while I am only one voice of the pack here, I will consider you my alphess. My name is Glacier, and my sister may be slow to get here she is currently pregnant, and possibly asleep." Making himself comfortable by a large boulder to their right Glacier waited, hoping more would show.

The young reaper set one paw in front of the other slowly. He was careful to keep a watchful eye across the plains that surrounded him. A smile brimmed across is maw as several spirits flew about around him. Their small little orb like appearances flitting this way and that way with out a care in the world. They whisper soft words to him, directing him in the direction of the river. Clearly there was a reason for them to point him in this direction.
Nodding his head toward one particularly eccentric spirit Capital was quick to pick up his pace. The reason they pushed him that way soon became clear as Capital's brown suds were met with the howl of another. A female voice carried throughout the lands, calling to the wolves to which belong to it. Not since Charon's arrival had Capital heard this kind of sound before, it almost send chills down his spine at the remembrance of how quickly Charon's rein here had been now. Though he had never gotten to know the alpha as some had, Capital would greet this new alpha with loyalty and a gentle disposition.
It wasn't long until the river came into site and the large form of Glacier arriving to meet an azure female. It was clearly she would had sent out the call, and in some ways it shocked Capital a female had come this time. Arriving shortly after Glacier made himself comfortable Capital took up his own place by the boulder. Nodding his head in greeting. Lovita introduced herself to him and greeted him kindly. "Hello and Welcome Lovita. My name is Capital, I am one of two reapers within the pack." With that Capital laid down and waited along with Glacier. Watching as Lovita's face seemed to question why only males had yet to come, clearly she would be more comfortable if another fae was to show up soon.

Charon was gone.. Forever.. Gone like the wind, like the dust, like vapor in the morning... He would never be back, Selena would never see his smile again, never hear his voice say her name again. He would never see their pups, never know it had been her that night, so much had gone wrong in such a short amount of time.. Guilt ripped through her like a mountain lion's claws. She would never see him again.. Slowly tears begun to freely fall from her baby blue eyes. This couldn't be healthy could it? Though the wound left in his absence tore at her, ripped her apart, wanted to tear her into shreds. The simple thought of him like fresh salt poured into the wound.
The gentle wind carried the smell of mist from the mountains on it, though the comforting smell and coolness that coated her did nothing to comfort her. A hollow space beside her was all that filled her mind, Charon should be here, he should be with her, beside her. An audible cry left her mouth, almost a whimper. The sound of the small bushes around her covered any noise she made though, their dry and dead branches scratching together in the breeze.
The gentle sound carried on the wind reached her quiet at first, but grew louder the longer it last until it finally died away. The voice still echoed through her head as Selena considered what it meant. Someone had come to replace Charon as last. This should have brought joy to her mind, nut only once again reminded her that Charon was not coming back. There was no happy ending here. Though a small small movement in her belly reminded her other wise, there would still be a some what happy ending that came from all of this. Selena would also seek a resolve in it, she would devote herself to raising these pups, after all they were all she had left of Charon.
Picking herself up Selena shook her head once, then shaking out her entire body. At least she would look about as presentable as she possibly could. Walking toward the direction of the call it took her a short amount of time to reach the spot. Her brother Glacier was already there and another wolf, Capital, was already there. Nodding to both it was clear the worry in Glacier's eyes. She walked over to him and laid down beside him, clearly tired. Sighing she nodding a return to Lovita who had just introduced herself. "I'm Selena, I'm sure you've heard about me by now." Not saying much more Selena kept quiet.

His white fur stood out clearly against the tans and browns of the earth that surrounded him. It was clear the today would only be another cool day, the sun not warming the land like it use to, and the wind blowing a cool breeze from the mountains. A light chuckled passed through his lips. Charon had gone missing a week or so ago, and now the pack would have to find a new leader, or let a new leader find them.
To Fathom it was amazingly quick how long Charon had been here, but the impact he had, had on everyone in the pack. He had been a good change for the pack, but everything has their seasons. It crossed Fathom's mind once or twice who might step up as leader, maybe Charon's own flesh and blood, Morpheus, or his mate Selena. Though Selena seemed to much a mess these days to run a pack nor did she show the desire to without Charon.
The answer to his question was soon answered though as the long call of another summoned the pack to life once again. Maybe this would be a good thing for the pack and every wolf that lived in it. Though with a new alpha there was sure to be changes to come with him or her. Taking off in the direction of the call Fathom darted between the trees of the forest and over fallen logs. The barren land slowly started to open up around Fathom as he was able to increase his pace, only slowing once figures got close enough to be seen.
Coming up to the gathering there was already some wolves there, and clearly the one who had sent out the call. A larger azure female, clearly taller than him. She greeted him with a warm smile and offered him her name. "Pleasure to meet you Lovita, I'm Fathom." Making himself comfortable on the ground Fathom laid down to wait and hear what she had to say.

Not only had she grown physically, but mentally Solicia felt superior to many around her, even at her much younger age. Her short pelt was unmoved by the gentle breeze, but her much fluffier mane around her neck did stir slightly in the breeze. All around her Solicia had watched the pack she had joined crumble with the absence of an alpha, she was almost positive they would all either be forced to elect a new leader, or disband altogether. Where was her mother? It had been sometime since Solicia had talked with her mother, but then again she wasn't a baby anymore either.
Walking forward the green grass all around her waved with each gust of wind that swept around her slender form. Mouth hung open and tongue hanging out to the side as she took in all the scents around her. The sweet sound of a howl rose above all the other sounds that had come to surround Solicia, and a smile brimmed across her face. Finally someone was going to step up, so after all she would still have a home it seemed.
Taking off her slender body worked against the wind, tightly wound muscles finally able to stretch and work as she ran. Clearing the grassy field and into the forest Solicia's slender for darted through the trees and undergrowth that had yet to die with the coming fall. Though all to soon she knew that everything would soon die, she didn't plan on it anytime soon.
Coming out of the forest she was already beside the river, and it was such a simple task to trot down its bank until the group became visible. It seemed that maybe the pack had not been as dead now as she would have thought. Selena was already in attendance, along with Glacier, Fathom, and Capital. Solicia looked at each wolf nodding a greeting as they gave her the same. The new wolf, a blue female with unique stripes covering her entire body and yellow eyes that seemed to glow almost in the bright sun, introduced herself as Lovita and greeted Solicia warmly. Giving the new fae a puzzled glance, was she simply the messenger for a possible new alpha? Or was she going to assume the role of alphess? The idea was intriguing either way.
Making herself comfortable opposite the new female Solicia look her over a few times before speaking, "Greetings Ma'am my name is Solicia. With any luck my mother, Cascadence, will be here in attendance soon." She didn't lay down like some of the others, but rather kept her spot sitting across from Lovita.

Wings unfurled and the wind eagerly licking at them Rye looked around her, there was no one out here. A smile crossed her face as she started running as fast as she could. Running into the breeze it wasn't long at all until the wing caught her wings and she was snapped into the sky. Though she was no where as graceful as her dad or even her aunt at it yet. Rising about ten feet from the ground before losing the current and falling to the ground, only able to slow her fall down.
Tumbling in a small heap of golden fur and wings a large dust cloud formed around her. Cough violent for a minute Rye glared at the sky. She would get up there one day. She would be able to be as free as a bird one day. Shaking out the dust from her shining fur Rye kicked at the ground, leaving a small trail where her tiny paw struck. Actually she wasn't all that tiny anymore. She was finally 6 months old, and soon enough she would be able to start training. The thought sent a chill down her spine, but also sent butterflies to her belly. Rye couldn't wait for the chance to prove herself to everyone.
A long howl summoned her attention from trying to fly once again, a female voice sang out with the ind calling clearly for the pack to assemble, or what was left of it anyway. Rye scoffed at the thought. Charon had left them, abandoned them in their time of need and now the pack was slowly falling apart. Though maybe this would be the one thing that would make or break the pack all together.
Running as fast as her legs would carry her Rye wasn't as awkward as she once was. Now finally growing into her paws as her legs lengthened out and she lost her baby fur, replaced by her adult coat. Her face was lengthily, and she was almost as big as her mother now. Her wings had also grown big enough to carry her on the wind, if only she could figure it out now.
Reaching the meeting her father was already there, comforting his sister and her aunt, Selena, witch in all honestly was another black mark against Charon to the young pup. He had broken Selena. Rye looked at Selena and saw herself in the older female. Smiling she nodded at her dad and aunt, and was greeted by the new female. She was blue with an assortment of stripes all over her body. Her name was Lovita, interesting enough. "Pleasure to meet you Lovita, I'm Rye. Glacier and Zira are my parents." Trotting over to her dad and aunt she made herself comfortable in her dads shadow and waiting for her brother and sisters to get here.

Charon had been such a loss to the entire pack, but Ellie was positive that the pack would be able to pull through and hold together through it all, after all they had before Charon. Standing beside the river and staring at her own reflection Ellie had not changed in years, no generations. It seemed like Ellie was watching every fly past her at hyper speed, everyone was growing and changing, yet she was stuck, motionless, never changing, never aging.
Looking up at the clear blue sky Ellie could wait to be able to see the stars tonight, maybe even start forming a new one, a new project, something, anything to keep her mind busy. The howl the greet her green and silver auds was blissful and sweet. A summoning call to the packs inhabitants.
Picking herself up the sound was not far away up the river from where Ellie had actually been. Trotting up the pebbly shore Ellie soon was greeting by many of her pack mates and a newcomer. This new comer would be a fine leader if that was what she so sought. Smiling and greeting her as the azure female did the same, her name was Lovita. "Well it is nice to meet you Lovita. You can call me Ellie, I'm the medic or healer for the pack. I may also let you know I'm an Astarte fae." It was always a bonus to be able to tell new wolves to the pack that. Ellie lived for the reaction sometimes.

Winter was moving in, not much of a problem for Morpheus though. He was heavily built, his paws hit the earth like thunder. Dark purple and black coat moved through this land slowly, with relaxation. His father was gone, and he did miss him. However he felt for Selena more then himself. Which surprised him, for Morph was not one to care for anyone besides himself. Rolling his deep salmon eyes which matched his fathers flawlessly he sighed. Black paw pads padded gently against the so familiar land. It seemed it wasn't long that the air stayed still.
Yawning, his black ears pulled forward to listen to the sound. What was this? A new alpha perhaps claiming this land? Well he would not go without checking this scene out. Picking up his pace, his heavy build moved rather quickly until he spotted where everyone was gathering. He could see the stranger, she was pretty, he would give her that. He could see Selena, and tilted his head. Tail rested calmly behind him. Approaching the group with his head held high, he nodded to Lovita. "Hello. I am Morpheus, Charon's son." he explained.
Glancing over to Selena, he knew it must be hard for her. He shifted uncomfortably, and took his seat, next to no one. By himself, as he always was. Morph wasn't truly friends with anyone, so he stuck it out alone. That was typical of him, he was always seen alone, watching others from his comfortable distance. He tried to avoid looking at Selena, as he had the same face as his father aside from the color. But his eyes, his structure, was like his fathers twin. And he knew it would pain her to see that. She didn't need him being a constant reminder of Charon's disappearance.

It had been so long since she had stepped foot on her home land. However she couldn't help but wonder where everyone was. She had seen Ellie already, and poured her soul out to her adoptive mother. But even she was no where to be found on the pack lands. Sighing, she trudged through the weather which was getting colder by the day. Her tail swept calmly behind her. Large feline paws padded against the earth. Mind wondered if everyone else would be glad to see she had returned. Her blue eyes scanned the earth, not long before she picked up a sound.
She knew Charon had gone missing, and so when she heard the howl she could only assume one thing. A new alpha. Would she still be accepted into the pack? She could only hope, she knew she wouldn't do well on her own. Especially with cubs on the way. Being small still, it wasn't obvious she was pregnant, Ellie only knew.
Picking up her pace a little bit, she spotted where everyone was gathering and smiled. Moving up to the group, she nodded to the ones she hadn't seen in so long. Even Selena who had watched her multiple times when she was a cub. Taking her seat next to Ellie, she yawned. "Greetings, I am Venus." she told her with a calming nod.

Silence had been all she’d known for weeks on end. Only the sound of nature had crowded her ears as she made her way through territory to territory. The cry of another had brought her further into the terrain she now found herself within, both beautiful and scary all in the same though she didn’t mind. She moved like a ghost through the terra, her white pelt though strange purple and black markings making her stand out in just the slightest. Scents of other swirled around her, though the actual source unseen by her light blue gaze.
Lithe form moved through the trees with ease, jumping over fallen trees and weaving through bushes with grace. Her strange appearance was enough to catch someone off guard. While the white of her fur was common, the markings of black and purple were another story. Her frame was littered with markings that made it so that no other fae would look a like, not unless she had some sort of twin wondering elsewhere which was unlikely for she had been born an only child. She was light in weight though it did not mean she was weak. While she appeared frail it was surely not the case. She had been through hell and back in her past and it still affected her greatly though she was still a loyal being to those above her.
The howl that ran with the wind had brought her hear. It had been some sort of calling, though for what she was uncertain. She had heard of a land where the alpha had suddenly disappeared without a trace and another had taken his place. Had she come to that place or was it simply somewhere else? Had she found a place where others would welcome her even with her strangeness and bad attitude? Either way, if she was accepted or not she didn’t care, she would likely linger anyway. She would stake her claim on some small part of land and do as she pleased.
She stepped further into the forest, smells becoming stronger as she moved. A female of blue and strange markings stood at the head, others crowded around her. She had traveled to the place of rumors. The appearance of the fae met those of what she had heard perfectly. She stepped forward, staying in the back as the others introduced themselves. She noted the feline, wondering what sort of land she had exactly wondered into. Why did a cat find it’s home here amongst canines? She would stay clear of her for a while, at least until she knew the whole story. Light blue gaze switched from wolf to wolf, taking in their sights and smells. It was obvious that she wasn’t the only oddly marked being here which made her feel slightly better.
She sat back upon her haunches, listening to the words of others, awaiting to be acknowledged if at all. For now she would listen and wait for whatever instructions were to be given unknowing whether this would be a place she wanted to stay or not. Only time would tell.

No, it was someone new..a new alpha. Someone else she'd have to meet, and interact with. Cadence's ears folded back as her maw parted in release of a yawn, before she pushed her self up slowly. Stretching on a branch of a tree she had slowly grown - and claimed as her own. Leaping from the tree, she shook out her pelt ridding it of any debris or ants that had decided to take refuge while she slumbered. Slowly, she pushed forwards to meet the call of the female. A gender she was okay with, and with that she moved her way through the lands.
Pulling into the clearing, where the new alphess had placed herself she locked her pools on each and every wolf that painted themselves there. The female had grown slightly larger since her, and her daughters stay. However, petite frame didn't desert her. As she walked up to her daughters side she pressed a loving nuzzle into her neck, smiling to her then looking up to the interesting looking femme. Her head lowered in a respectable bow, as she returned to her standing state, her maw parted and prepared for speech Greetings, Madame. The names Cascadence - she paused, thinking her next line of words. Hesitating, before looking to all the other wolves. Some she'd not even interacted with. Mother of Solicia, and, without a doubt - a follower of yours. A pleasure to meet you, Alphess
She had remained single, her whole time in this pack. She was devoted to her daughter. Someone whom she found had grown up to be beautiful, and nothing less and nothing more then what she had wanted. She lowered her rump to the ground and let her tongue graze over her lips before she let it run over Sol's cheek. Tail swayed out behind her, as she awaited words from the blue leader.

The sound of oblivion is a burden to anyone, and raises the senses higher than they should be. However, the wind, the plants whistling amongst each other, it all provided a protection against the insanity. However, the female lurking these lands now, she would never feel it, for she knew she was never alone. When one could speak to spirits of lost souls, and the plants themselves, there was never anything near loneliness. Perhaps fear, guilt even, but never loneliness!
Amongst the wind, there was a new sound; A calling. Though the she-wolf had never heard the voice, she knew who it was. Word traveled fast through the lands of sins, and Zira knew there was a new leader to her pack. She looked up, to the sky, and smiled once. and with that, she began to find her way through the forests, bright green eyes ominous in the shade. Light paws carried themselves with grace. Slowly, she found her way into the area of call.
Zira looked around, there were many wolves, but her eye caught two; Her mate, Glacier, and the new Alphaess, a sight to be held. She was a blue hued female, with darker stripes. But her eyes caught Zira the most; A bright, proud gold. As Zira made her way to the female, she held a friendly smile softly on her face. Lovita, it is a great pleasure to meet you. I believe you will be a great thing for this pack, Mistress. Zira spoke when she in her presence. My name is Zira. I can speak to plants and spirits, I can only hope that will be good for whatever your cause may be. Zira chuckled lightly.
