Silence hadn’t been on his side, not this time. The howl the fae had emitted had brought him here. Though the female he had crept upon had noticed his presence, a presence he hadn’t wanted noticed for quite some time. He had preferred to wait and watch, wait for the most opportune moment to make his presence known but that hadn’t worked the way he had hoped. Eyes of toxic green caught the light that shone above, while dull it still made an eerie feeling fall over the land he crept within. He was still a loner in ways, having not spoken to the alpha even with his joining but he didn’t care, he had plenty of time later to find the leader, for now he would enjoy a little fun.
He stepped forth, branches breaking more so beneath his weight. His form blended in with the darkness around him minus the strangeness of his green markings and eyes. The small light that shone through the canopy hit his face, revealing the 3 scars that ran across his face from his past though he wore them proudly. Gaze fell upon the darkened fae that stood only feet from his approaching form, a sly smile playing across his maw as he looked her over. She was definitely young though that didn’t matter. Sometimes the young were more feisty than those with experience, having a fire hidden deep inside them that he enjoyed all to well. Dragon like wings rose above him, making a strange arch like shape above his head, bright toxic green shown within the membrane as it ran through his veins.
He came closer to her, circling her slowly before stopping once again in front of her, “Well aren’t you a lovely lady.” He spoke darkly, licking his lips only once, “I do hope you know you are in the lands of Amenti, not the brightest and happiest of places.” He continued. From what he had seen of the current land it wasn’t the best of places but it was good enough for him to call home. He noted the marking that wound around her one eye, unique in ways and he preferred unique both in the male and female gender and thus far, he had only met the ladies of the land though he didn’t mind.
“I question, what brings you to a land of death and despair?” He asked curiously. He knew why he had found himself residing here but why a female such as herself?

Watching the wolf that remained hidden in the distance, she watched him. Her baby blue eyes never moving from his form. She would not show any weakness at all. Growling, she wished he would hurry it up though. Her patience was thin, and he was taking far too long just to get out of his hiding spot. He'd been noticed, there was no point in staying where he was. Rolling her eyes, she watched him closely. Shifting her weight. Her large, feathered, ivory wings lifted above her. Twitching with anticipation to leap into the sky, should he try anything funny.
He too had wings she could tell as he approached. His markings drew her to him oddly enough. They were striking really, unlike her dull, boring appearance. She cursed her parents for that. Such plain markings. While his were so unique. Smirking at his words, she watched as he circled her. "Oh, I know it too" she told him. She wasn't even an adult yet, but she acted like one. "Of course I know where I am. I came here on purpose." she stated.
"I am here, because I ran away. I hate my happy go lucky family. They irritate me. " she explained to him. Rolling her eyes at the mere thought. Tail swayed gently behind her, mind racing. There was no fear within her, she stood with pride and confidence.

A runaway? That was an interesting way to call it. Was she not old enough to go off on her own and do as she pleased? She was definitely not a pup anymore, at least not in the heart but in appearance she held that innocence that pup hood gave off. Why exactly she wanted to leave her home and come to a place of such darkness was beyond him but there again, it had been her choice. He in fact had been born in a similar place, his home often ridden with death and blood. He had grown with the spirits of the dead lingering around him though it seemed lacking of such in this place. He had been rewarded for a job well done in his training with blood and all the females he had wanted though his ego had gotten the best of him resulting in the scars across his face.
He watched her shift in weight and stature as he had come closer to her. He had no plans of attacking even though he was sure she could hold her own, even at a young age though he would still overpower her in size and weight. The smirk placed across his maw only grew at her attitude towards him. Did some strange feeling stir within her or was she simply being cautious of him? Either way he did find it amusing.
“You come to Amenti on purpose? Do you not mind the lands of death and decay or do you rather prefer it?” He questioned curiously, sitting back upon his haunches. His wings still remained arched above his body, feeling relieved to get the weight off his back from keeping them folded for so long. He licked his lips once more, gaze shifting to scan the terra around them before returning his attention on her, “Tell me, what purpose is your travel here minus the fact you are getting away from your family? Do they not approve of you leaving them behind?” He continued, simply curious as to her travel to a place known for such darkness and evil.
He studied her as he awaited her answers, taking in the way she moved, the way her facial expressions changed as she spoke of reasons. He knew she held no fear towards him otherwise she would be much more feisty, a bit more cautious in ways. He could only wonder what sort of background she held with a family she explained as happy go lucky. She did appear unscarred and not so battle ridden as himself but there again, he was older than she and had seen quite a bit more in his time a live.

She was more interested in where the alpha was, then putting up with this guy. She wanted entrance into the pack, not to play twenty questions with some pack member. Rolling her eyes, she sighed as her patience wore out. Relaxing her feathered ivory wings, she sat down. Clearly not threatened by the stranger at all.
"Of course I prefer it. Why else would I come here?" she told him. Tail curled around her side lazily, honestly she was growing bored. Oh so he questioned of her family now? Well she didn't mind telling him all about them, she hated them. They didn't hurt her, but their happy lifestyle made her sick. Her blue eyes glanced around, taking in their surroundings before they returned to him. "No, they don't approve. But they just don't get it. I was not meant to be apart of Valcantia." she explained. Her parents were good wolves, but she wasn't. And she didn't want to grow up around good wolves. She wanted to be around those more like herself.
"They just, their so unlike me. And I don't wish to be around those so different from myself. I wanna feel like I belong, not like i'm different." she finished honestly. Ears remained on the top of her skull as she waited for him to speak once more. "So do you think I have a place in Amenti?" she asked eagerly.

In the weeks he had been here he had not met nor seen sight of the alpha reigning over Amenti though he didn’t care. He did in fact meet one of the Alpha’s right hands, Malikai who had played a good game when they first met but no one else since. Why he still lingered here he was unsure. He hadn’t moved much further into the land of Amenti, though not out of fear but out of the sheer instinct that stung in his veins to wait. He noted her relaxation, perhaps now she knew for certain he wasn’t going to try anything funny unless in the end he decided otherwise.
A dark smile caressed his maw as she spoke of preferring the darkness and death. She could make him an interesting companion, simply because they shared the same interest. Everything good he disliked, though he had never been raised around kindness or trust or even love for that matter. He saw love as simply lust and lust was enough for him to deal with. He chuckled softly as he replied, “Well my dear, you and I share a common interest and preference.” He said, amusement ringing within his darkened tone of voice that often got him into trouble, “I wonder simply, what is thy lady’s name so I may call you by something different?” He questioned. He found it awkward to talk to someone without completely knowing their name. His would definitely match his appearance and would explain the gray upside down T like marking upon his chest.
Auds quivered as she spoke of her family. While not thinking illy of them, she didn’t like their ways. It was a good enough reason, “You were raised opposite of myself. I was raised around death, war, famine, and blood. I was rewarded for jobs well done with blood and all the females I desired brought to me by my father. I do feel sorry for you that you had to deal with a happy go lucky family when you yourself weren’t so yourself.” He said. He knew she could possibly fit in here, if accepted which he to awaited to know his fate.
Wings moved suddenly, folding into a position that was less than threatening, falling to his sides and laying upon the ground. He felt no need to take flight or use them for any unseen reason thus far. She questioned him though, did he see her fit for a place in Amenti? He didn’t see why not, “While much like you, I await judgment before I to can be considered a member of this pack though I see no reason why the Alpha would not accept you. Me on the other hand, we will have to see.” He said, chuckling at the thought.

Wings relaxed against her sides. Ears alert with these new surroundings, which she wasn't used to yet. As she focused on him, she also took in everything around her. Cold wind rushed against her thin pup fur and she shivered slightly. Spreading her ivory wings out a bit, so they blanketed around her sides. Her blue eyes met his, as he spoke once more. He asked what her name was and she hadn't even realized she forgot to tell him.
"Obsidian, what about you?" she spoke, voice relaxed and calm. Smirking as he told her how he felt bad for her, she couldn't help but laugh a little. "Trust me, these months have been agonizing." she explained with a sigh. She truly did hate her family for that reason only. It was enough to drive someone mad. Especially someone with a mind like herself, more on the dark side of life.
Grinning as he spoke once more of the alpha, her mind drifted off into thoughts before she spoke. "We will have to see about myself as well, i'm a little terror to have around" she assured him. A dark smirk crossing her lips.

In all honesty she had nothing to fear in the surroundings around them. While the occasional cry of death or pain rang out and broke the silence, it was nothing more than that. He quite enjoyed the sound of death and the scent of blood as it ran dry. The wind pushed him forward just slightly, his fur moving forward as well, creating a strange effect. He watched her as she wrapped herself with her own wings in hopes to keeping warm. He remembered the way the cold bit at the skin beneath the thin and soft pup like fur, though it only got better as adulthood took over.
His attention perked forth as she spoke her name. The grin only widened upon his muzzle as she spoke. Obsidian, it suited her well. He nodded once, “Obsidian, definitely describes a female such as yourself. I am known as Toxin.” He replied, “I suppose it suites me just as well.” He laughed. He had been told multiple of times that he was toxic, though his name only explained it clearly. His mood lightened as her laugh rang through his ears. It had been the first he had heard from her lips besides her voice, “Well, I am sorry you had to deal with that. I hope you find a better life here than with the goodie goodies of your family.” He to laughed, such a pity to have to deal with that. Thankfully he hadn’t been stuck in a family that was like that.
"A terror you say?" He questioned, standing again. He shook his pelt once of any debris that had fallen upon it in the short time he had been there. He knew leaves had fallen as he had come through the forest. He was interested in seeing this terror that she held so deeply now. She was young that was clear. Had she created chaos for her family or had she kept to herself? It was likely she had let it bottle up like most do but then again he was only unsure.
“I am interested in seeing this terror you hide so well. A terror is different in every stage of life and with as young as you are, it probably will not match up to the chaos that lives within myself, within my heart, a chaos that raised me to be as I am now.” He said, licking his lips as his blood began to boil and lust took effect. He would not harm the lady before him, not unless she tried something witty, “Show me Obsidian, show me the chaos that rages inside of you.”
