A y l a. F a i t h. F r o s t m o u r n e. It had been the first time since the meeting to join Nefendus that Ayla had left the realm to come back to these loner lands. It was nice now, coming back to where she had lived for so long. Although it also held a sort of bitterness to it. Bitter sweet memories. For as long as Ayla could remember Azzan, her brother, and her had lived in or around this land. Walking through the tall grasses, Ayla was able, from knowledge, avoid all the marshes with their sticky mud. The grass here was about four feet tall, well enough to keep herself hidden in, although it made it hard to see where one would be going without knowing the land.
Laughing inwardly, it was hard for Ayla to get away from Azzan. He was really protective of her actually. He may not act like it, but he is typically always stuck to her like glue. Rolling her eyes at the thought she went on. Finding some shade under a lonely tree Ayla stopped to rest. The grass around the tree was much shorter, in fact it maybe only came up to her knees at the highest. Laying down with her back to the trunk of the tree, it was simple enough to see the black and red wolf.
Her tongue lolled out the the side, for a autumns day it was actually kind of hot out here. Ayla remembered though still that at night the temperature would drop once again, something she dreaded the prospect of. Twisting a frown onto her face, cold weather always made Ayla cringe. The only thing that helped her through the winter was the fact that she could keep her body temperature at a nice toasty temperature all year. Without her power she was sure she might just freeze to death.
Laying her head back and sprawling her legs out in front of her Ayla did a half twist onto her back, legs in the air. There was hardly anything to do today, and since she had been able to get away from Azzan for once, she really noticed how boring a day could be without her brother to tease. Sighing she went back to just laying, head on the ground, on her side. Maybe something would come to her, an idea or something, but right now there really was nothing, nothing, to do.
Around her though, as she looked up at the world around her, there were several trees in the area, numerous looking quiet dead. It never really accrued to her that one of these trees had met it's time until a sharp crap and splintering wood surrounded her. Though Ayla, laying splayed out on her back, knew she wouldn't be able to move quick enough to save herself from the rain of wood. All she could do in a small attempt to stop some of the splinters was setting fire to the air above her in a quick flash.

It seemed he wasn't out and about much anymore. Mainly staying within the pack lands. Keeping to himself, watching silently. The hero only seemed to show up when others needed him. Not so much when it just came to mingling with the pack mates. However it was about time the large brute got out and stretched his legs. Clash hadn't talked to much of anyone lately. Perhaps he would run into someone to chat with on this day. Yawning, he moved effortlessly across the loner lands. If any place to find someone interesting it would be here.
His white pelt with tan spots was easy to spot out here. Especially with how big the male was. He was extremely bulky and tall, so he was hard to miss. Smirking at the thought, he sighed and continued on. The cool air unable to penetrate his thick arctic wolf coat. Ears perked forward, green pools scanned the area for any signs of wolf life. He spotted a few birds, but other then that nothing. He continued on, paws padding heavily against the earth.
However it seemed only minutes before he heard the snapping of wood. Head snapped in the direction of the sound. The trees here were dead, so it was bound to happen. However the smell of fire was what really caught his attention. Picking up his pace, he moved in the direction of the sound swiftly. When he spotted the girl who had been caught up in the incident, his eyes widened. "Ayla! he beamed. Both worried for her, and glad to see her once more. Leaning down, he touched her gently, his heart racing at the contact with her. Shaking that off, he pushed against the large tree. Luckily it wasn't too heavy, and with time it eventually budged. Rolling away from her. "Are you alright?" he asked quickly. Nudging her to urge her to get up.

A y l a. F a i t h. F r o s t m o u r n e. The smell of charred wood surrounded Ayla, and ashes fell from the sky around her collecting a gray film over her pelt. Her eyes were closed tightly, nothing really registering in her mind. Everything had all happen just so quickly she had trouble sorting through it all now. Some where in the distance she heard her name yelled by another, and the thought of her dying and that being Azzan or maybe even.. no.
The weight that had fallen on her wasn't as heavy as it would have been. By some miracle Ayla had burned a groove into the long dead, and easy to burn, wood. She was positive the only reason she was alive right now was her ability to manipulate fire. Coughing suddenly, her body coming awake once again as pain drew her from her trance. So her little protective groove had not been as protective, but enough to save her life.
Slowly her coughing stopped and she registered someone nudging her to get up and he was asking if she was alright. Well what the hell did he think? Shifting slightly Ayla finally was able to pull herself to a sitting position as she opened her eyes. The area around her was slightly coated in crisp gray ashes, and she was tired as she had ever been, guess fire came at a cost sometimes.
Shaking out her pelt, ash fell from the pristine black and red pelt slowly. After checking herself out she found her tail hurt, maybe bruised, and her front paw hurt to put to much pressure on. Though there was nothing fatal here, which she was glad for. Sighing to finally noticed her rescuer. With a smile she forgot what had just happened almost completely. It was a rare event when Ayla smiled, let alone forgot what was going on around her, so it didn't last long.
Without thinking about it Ayla allowed her usual bite to come back, "Of course I'm alright, I'm still breathing am I not?" Though it was half hearted and Ayla was sure by now Clash would be use to her bark by now, "Though I guess.. Thanks for getting that chunk of wood off of me." Nodding her head awkwardly she smiled again.
Getting up Ayla walked around a little bit before sitting back down, her paw would be just fine in a little bit with some rest, and over time her tail would heal up brand new. Turning her attention away from her almost death experience, she was good at doing things like that, Ayla focused on the fact Clash was here, "So what are you doing out here? I haven't seen you in almost forever now. I thought I'd be old and gray before I ever saw you again!" Getting up once again she motioned for Clash to follow her to an area away from this one. The grass here felt nice of her pads and as Ayla laid down she was glad she had moved from the hard burned and ash covered ground.

Watching eagerly to make sure she was alright, he sighed. He waited patiently for her to get situated, tail swaying gently behind him. Ears perked on the top of his skull, where they always seemed to be. Shifting his weight uneasily, his green pools locked on her. He hadn't realized he missed her so much, until he actually saw her again.
However her smart remark snapped him back into reality. Grinning, he nipped at her ear playfully. "As of right now you are, but we all know what seeing me can do to one." he told her with a smirk. He only joked and played around like this to her mainly. He was always himself around anyone, aside from his dangerous, adrenaline junkie self. That side, only Ayla knew about. "Anytime." he told her with a nod.
Watching as she paced around, he have her a worried glance. Jeez, he worried too much. "Oh you know me, i've been jumping off some cliffs, the usual." he told her with a soft laugh. "Oh, please Ayla. There's no way you'd be able to get rid of me for that long. One couldn't be so lucky." he told her, tossing her another daring smile.
Following her, he too sat down on the soft green grass, it was much better then that mess they were at.

A y l a. F a i t h. F r o s t m o u r n e. For a few seconds they had locked gazes and Ayla couldn't resist to flick him a playful glare, as he nipped at her ear playfully she batted him in the shoulder with her paw. Giving his a sidewards glance as he smirked at her, "If I didn't know any better Clash I'd say you might actually miss me if I'd gotten smashed by that tree." This time it was her turn to smirk at him as she turned around toward the grass.
When she looked back toward him she rose her brow slightly at his worried expression, "Oh don't worry yourself bald about me, I promise ya I can't be gotten rid of by something so minor as a dead tree. Honestly that would almost be an insult to my life." Laughing, Ayla didn't care if anyone else heard her right now, "I can see it now, 'Did you hear? Ayla Faith Frostmourne was smashed by a dead tree while she was playing like a pup.' Yup so my legacy!" Rolling her eyes she settled herself.
Listening to him now, she could help the exasperated sigh that escaped her lips along with an eye roll, "What being around me not risky enough for ya now? Your trading me and my fire in for cliff jumping?" Putting on a mock face of pain that she only held for a short time before laughing once again. "Well and here I was thinking I was doing a pretty damn good job of getting rid of you. Though behold your still here before me, I'm going to have to bump up my A game." As he smiled Ayla couldn't stop her heart from jumping a beat a little bit. He was just so darn adorable, and just every bit as charming.
As Clash sat down on the grass by her Ayla could help but take a quick glance, playful smile on her maw once again, as she tackled him. Granted she was much smaller than him, she knew he wouldn't hurt her anyway. Rolling across the grass a little ways Ayla stopped what she was doing, pinning him or him pinning her, and looked at Clash, raising her brow slightly before chuckling.

Heart raced, this was new for him. But he went with it. Sighing, he growled playfully as he pawed at his shoulder. Tail wagged more violently with his joy. Her words made him sigh. Of course he would miss her. Actually, more then anything, he hated the thought of her ever being gone. He'd even regretted the time he ignored her. He ignored everyone for that short time, but he felt bad about doing that to her. He said nothing, afraid his emotions might show through his words. He just grinned, and laughed.
Laughing at her next words, he knew she was right. However her next words made him smirk. "Oh please, the cliffs were around way before you. But i'd never trade ya in for anything." he told her with a smile. Those cliff jumping skills had been around since he was a pup.
Being pulled from his memories with her words once again, he smiled. "No matter how hard you try, you're never gonna be able to get rid of me." he teased. Suddenly she collided with him, and they both tumbled over onto the grass. Allowing her to pin him, his emerald eyes gazed at her. Glancing away, he looked back to her, before he turned the tables. Tackling her back, aiming to pin her down now. He was much larger then her, so shouldn't be hard.
