Crimson paws kissed the autumn bare ground. Delicate, multi-hued leaves fell from the trees, some already bare. A crimson streak traveled without a sound within the misty mountain range. He moved quickly, but with hesitation in his steps, as if he expected something to come leaping at him from within the mist shaded verdure. Soft dawn lights cast its self on the grass littered ground, through the foliage, causing lights to scatter and dance.
Arlequin moved with a confident pace. It felt unusually warm for a mere 20ºF. He had finally persuaded himself to leave his home and family to join Valcantia. He had heard about the pack from another loner, who had told him it was better off that someone like him join such a pack. Arlequin wasn't sure what he meant by that, but the loner's words lingered in his ear for many days afterward. And here he was, looking for the one named "Lovita" which the loner told him to look for, apparently the leader of this pack.
He suddenly remember the loving words of his 'mother' before leaving, her face was ridden with worry. She wasn't really Arlequin's mother. Arlequin's real mother had died years ago, murdered by a cruel brute. But this motherly fae had taken him in, and raised him along her two other pups, as if he was her own.
Arlequin shook his head to rid of the memories that sadden him. He forced his attention on the path h was following. Soon he found himself entering a small, sun lit clearing. Hesitating, he sat. The clearing was was small, but open enough. He was hoping for some other wolf to scent him, since he didn't want to travel farther into the strange lands. Arlequin's tail swished over the leaves that fell from the trees, the crunching sound breaking the silence. Arlequin settled down, and waited for a wolf to arrive.
___ Pfff. I just realized that Valcantian's and Loners are under the Ban list. :3 Arlequin was accepted, is that ban still in affect? /isconfused

Lovita's larger frame moved quickly between the trees, she had come to know every inch of the lands well. A smile dawned across of her face in admiration of what she had come to accomplish. Her yellow eyes scanned the area around her as the mist cleared slightly, allowing for her to see further than she had been able to before.
It was early morning still, and a slight chill hung in the air. Above her head song birds were just waking up, and over the mountains the sun was starting to make itself known to the sleeping world. Hues of pink, orange, and purple painted across the sky, fading into each other and finally fading into a gentle blue further along the horizon. Below her paws the grass was still green, but its color was quickly fading.
Fall was among the wolves now, and soon winter would follow it after all the leaves had fallen from the trees. Above her head several tree were already almost stripped bare of their leaves, their branches waving in the light breeze. To her left the sound of another wolf came to Lovita's attention and soon after an unfamiliar scent.
Heading in the direction of this new wolf Lovita was sure whoever this was had to be new, or he didn't understand boundaries. Coming to a small clearing, just outside the official pack lands actually, another wolf came into her view. He, clearly he, was a crimson colored wolf with a simple black streak that went from his nose all the way down his back to his tail tip. Walking out into the open Lovita held herself high, her posture regal and flowing.
Stepping up to the loner she didn't growl or threaten him, after all he wasn't on her lands yet, simply just a buffer land of her lands. Lovita stood a good foot, almost two feet, taller than this stranger, and this gave her some more confidence. Dipping her head in greeting Lovita questioned him, "Hello loner, I am Lovita Vasílissa of Valcantia. You are aware how close you are to entering our lands? You should be careful to mind your step around her, unless though, you have intentions to join?" Yes a new member, new blood, that would be a good thing, but if he only wished to cause trouble then this loner would be lucky to get far in the lands.

Arlequin was glad someone had come so quickly, he was getting a bit paranoid as he usually did when he was alone. Soon within the clearing, another wolf came about. She was far taller than Arlequin, a good two feet at least. Her pelt was a mixture of different shades of azure, her yellow eyes standing bright against it. She greeted Arlequin, authority in her voice, but not threatening.
Arlequin nodded in greeting to the azure color she-wolf. He was indeed quite aware of how close he was to their land, and had very much the intention to join them. He was sure he could provide some use for the pack, whether hunting or merely looking over their lands for trespassers.
Arlequin stood before speaking; it was only polite that he stand. Even while standing, Arlequin was still quite shorter then Lovita’s larger frame. He hesitated before speaking, carefully picking out his words, even though it was few. "I am Arlequin, and indeed, I do have the intentions to join." Arlequin spoke with that same distant, but monotone voice he always spoke to those he did not know well.
