I hear people complain all the time about how their parents hated them. How they turned on them and abused them, or even left them to die. I wish my parents would have done that; left me, I mean. It would have been a lot easier than me leaving them, that's for sure. My mother was bred to a wolf called Hagen, but I didn't know him very well. He never hung around much, and I can't help but shake the feeling that it was because he was ashamed of fathering a blind child. My mother though, was overly loving.
It didn't start to show until I grew to be about two months old. My two sisters, Helena and Saturn were treated much different than I was. Oh, did I mention? My name isn't really Trip. It's Melena, but if you call me that I swear on every soul that's ever walked the Earth and every soul that someday will, I'll tear your throat out and watch you drown. Well...I can't "watch" you drown, but you know what I mean. I gained my little nickname when I was learning how to walk and it just kind of clung. Anyways, my sisters were allowed out of the den to explore, but every time I tried to follow along my mother pulled me back.
