After affect: Today's world
100 years have passed since "The Becoming" happened. The world is at rest for now. War has sub-sided and it seemed each lingering realm has an unspoken agreement with the others. The reapers had been recalled and placed in a temporary slumber. Their bodies encased in ice blue crystal until the need for them to guide the spirits once more awakens them. Harmony it seems has kissed the world. Or so, we think.
Since the war ended, the population of the Fae have increased. They remained hidden in the valley of Aolani. They watched as the world crumbled and the history was lost. When the gods were at war with each other and the earth was reborn into the world of Amorgos. Yet they hunger for Revenge. The earth was their home and with the war of power they lost their earth and were forced to hide out in their secrete valley. So while everyone feels the claim in the air. The fae increase their numbers and wait for the time when "the redemption" can happen.
The Becoming
Darkness swept the world of earth when the war of the gods began. The god of hell, Smertullos, and the goddess of heaven, Eithne , had been at wits end with one another and had decided war would settle their dispute over power. Which realm could overcome the other? The goddess of the spirits was outraged that her fellow guardians would seek blood to solve their grudges. So she sent her children down to earth to warn and protect the creatures of the world.
Chaos began to rain over earth as heaven and hell touched its shores. Their realms were no longer under the protection of their gods. So they were at the mercy of the mortal laws. As blood began to fall and lives began to crumble. The spirits had called on their goddess, Cliodna, for a guardian. Someone to come and claim the fallen and hold their souls until this war was over. She chose a white wolf named Surcyn. He was more than willing to assist the goddess in her quest to salvage the lost souls. So he stood by the battle grounds and collected the fallen.
As the war became longer and more aggressive, the world around seemed to die. The earth couldn’t handle so much poison from the spirits that claimed the earth’s bodies. Her children were falling, and her tears were heard by the hiding angels. So they heeded her call and called out to the creator of darkness. The Atrox. They asked that she assist, with the help of her followers, in putting an end to the war.
Now these same gods had banished the Atrox to realm all her own after finding out her plans to consume the world in darkness. So the idea of neutralizing the war wasn’t one that she cared for. So, she betrayed the goddess and aliened herself with the god of hell. This allowed the hell wolves to gain an advantage over the heaven. It seemed hope was lost as heaven found its numbers faltering. The goddess was desperate to keep what remained of her children and demanded that she and the god of hell speak of a possible treaty.
Though, the jurisdiction of their gods no longer applied, the two gods had decided to create a treaty. Eithne suggested that she and Smertullos come to a common group about the survival of their children. As the two began to discuss things, the Atrox stood in the shadows in wait, for Smertullos had a plan to assonant the goddess Eithne and claim earth as his domain. Cliodna, knew of the plans of the Atrox and Smertullos. So she came to the assistance of the heavenly goddess. With her presence no malice could occur. So the gods came to an agreement, that their domains would remain on earth and the war would be over.
With the ending of the war came a new area. The world was altered and created by the gods and goddess and the main creatures had been the wolves. With the magic still lingering over the earth it had transformed some and given gifts to others. Each wolf still holds their main species but some have become the products of hybrids. This world and its magic continue to alter the creatures that still call it home. And its new name is Amorgos, the Land of mystics.
However, peace never seems to last long in a world full of power hungry creatures. How long will it be before another war claims the world? Or before one of the ancient goddess is murdered? Will the spirits be able to keep the balance or will their wills fall to temptation and the offer of power?
Welcome to Reborn sins…
